Welcome to Weekend Designer!

I've been obsessed with design for as long as I can remember.  I believe every house has its own story to tell about the people that live in it, past and present.  About a year ago my husband and I decided it was time to trade in our 800 sq ft condo for something a little larger.  We love to cook and entertain.  We weren't afraid of something that needed a little work.  "Little" being the operative work .  We looked at a ton of houses, finally settling on a 100+ year old house in need of some TLC. 

Did I forget to mention that my Dad is a general contractor?  Thank goodness because we may have bitten off a little more than we can chew with this one.....
